Manager, Lab & FinTech Programs

Job description / Role

Our client, a leading local bank here in the UAE are currently looking to recruit a 'Manager, Lab & FinTech Programs'. The role is to be based in Dubai.

The specific role is to work closely with the Head of Fintech and Innovation lab to manage the programs, liaise with business on identifying the right partner and idea, conducting post-implementation value analysis and producing & analyzing FinTech research reports.

Job Responsibilities

Strategy
Execution of Fintech strategy

Programs
Research, analyse, initiate, prioritise, design and conduct Fin-Tech workshops and Hackathons

Partnerships
Build strong partnerships with potential accelerators and ecosystems

Governance
Create process and governance for Fin-tech Strategy

Go-to-market
Shortlist and implement 3 viable offerings through Fin-tech engagements

Internal and External Collaboration
Conduct frequent workshops within IT and Fin techs

Program Management
Deliver Fin-Tech projects on budget and time

Requirements

* Understand different innovation models, methodology and approaches to generate the next best business idea
* Master's in Business Management or Engineering or Innovation preferred
* 4-5 years in leading enterprises driving their innovation agenda
* Understanding of the latest technology and business trends in the Fin-tech space
* Understanding the trends in the insurance and regulatory businesses
* Strong leadership qualities and a peoples person, managing their passion, continuously motivating and empowering them to come forward and develop out of the box thinking
* A challenging mindset pushing boundaries beyond comfort zone
* A people's person, motivates them to lead from the front
* Non-judgemental, open minded and non-possessive
* A true collaborator who believes in collective intelligence
