Aquila Consulting are working in partnership with a leading Dubai based Social Media Marketing Agency. They have an exciting and unique opportunity for a Managing Director to run the agency with a view to progressing to partner/business owner.
This opportunity will suit an entrepreneur or General Manager currently within an agency who is keen to make the move to run their own successful business. The right candidate will have the grit and desire to grow the agency whilst having carte blanche to run this as their own. You will manage the current team (based globally) and recruit new members as well as building on and maintaining long term client relationships.
Running a social media agency is not your usual 9-5 and requires hard work, determination and long working hours/weekend work. This opportunity will be no mean feat. It will require you to be able to roll up your sleeves and get involved from the ground up.
A background in Social Media is a must for this role as well as Business Development, Profit and Loss, team leadership and experience of the Dubai market.
• Implement operational strategies and developing Project plans for major Social Media campaigns in the region
• Writing and developing RFP's and presenting to major clients
• Monitoring and controlling the company’s performance and finances in accordance with budgets
• To ensure that all staff are effectively employed and adequately trained to perform their responsibilities and operational tasks in an ethical and responsible manner
• To ensure that the project produced and delivered to clients are of high quality in accordance with the company’s quality policies
• Liaise directly with clients and further develop the business specialising in Social Media and marketing campaigns
• Monitor and control the company’s Performance and Quality Management System
• Establish pricing policies, estimate job costs and set contract prices
• Must have ran a successful Social Media Agency in the Middle East
• Strong financial acumen
