This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to join a new venture of an entrepreneurial team that has already established a successful trading company in Dubai. Our client is currently seeking a Marketing and Business Development Manager to set up a new online garden center business focusing on urban farming and fashionable gardening and outdoor products.

The initial focus of the role will be to create brand awareness and develop key relationships with potential customers. You will be responsible for the sales and marketing strategy including budgets for A&P, price reviews and product portfolio and development. As part of the marketing strategy you will be responsible for website content, social media updates and media planning to ensure maximum exposure to the consumer. You will also conduct market research and competitor analysis to ensure the products are profitable and in demand, and prepare reports for the Senior Management team with regards to sales category and channel analysis. As the business develops the Marketing & Business Development Manager will be progressively in charge of the business and work extremely closely with the Senior Operations Manager and Managing Director to develop a support team and ensure the success of the online business.

Requirements

To apply for this vacancy applicants are invited from those with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a sales and marketing role, with a preference in online sales or E-Commerce. You will also be ambitious and driven with a sound knowledge of the UAE consumer habits and have experience from a similar environment. Our client also requires a relevant degree in Sales and Marketing, excellent communications skills in English and be currently residing within the UAE.
