Job description / Role
This opportunity is with a Semi-Government Company with their office based in Dubai.
As a Marketing Director, you would be responsible in creating and executing a marketing plan to attract the attention and interest of clients. The position calls for skills in market research, traditional marketing, brands marketing, social media management, providing market intelligence support, collecting value chain data, building strong network, developing strategies, writing proposals and preparing and giving presentations. You will conduct general market research to keep abreast of trends and competitor’s marketing movements.
You will be responsible in supervising the department and provide guidance and feedback to other marketing professionals. Produce ideas for promotional events or activities and organize them efficiently. Plan and execute campaigns for corporate promotion, launching of new product lines etc. Monitor progress and submit performance reports. Control budgets and allocate resources amongst projects. Become the organization’s agent towards external parties such as media, stakeholders and potential clients and build strategic partnerships.
Requirements
To be successful you would ideally possess proven 15+ years of experience with implementation and execution of marketing strategies within the Industry of Advertising and Media, Government, Banking and Finance. Having a bachelor’s degree in Marketing or any related course, must have an excellent verbal and written Arabic and English communication skills and with a strong network connection in the UAE.
