Job Description

Under the general direction of the Director of Sales & Marketing and Communication within the limits of established Rixos Hotel Policies and Procedures, in the organization of events and seeking related sponsorship to cover all expenses while bringing revenue to the Hotel maintains the overall efficiency of standards set. Promotes positive work environment.

Identifies and maintain a general database of potential sponsors for all events and target specific ones related to each event separately.

Keen negotiating skills to handle potential sponsors and ultimately close advantageous arrangements.

Self motivator and outgoing enabling to socialize and meet with potential sponsors and clients.

Writing skills to formulate all correspondence related to the sponsorship proposals; negotiations and letters of thank s and appreciation.

Assists the Director of Sales & Marketing and Communication to maintain an effective working relationship with all members of target media, electronic and print, local, national and international to encourage and maximize coverage of all events and promotions.

Hosts members of the media, strategic partners and top clients at the property's functions and events.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset.
- Minimum two year experience with the same position in a 5 star property.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, including social media platforms, email marketing software, and analytics tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and presentations.
- Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive marketing decisions.
- Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and staying up to date with industry trends.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge and ability with IT systems including core MS Office packages (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access)
