Marketing Manager

Job description / Role

Our client, a large FMCG company, is urgently looking for a Marketing Manager who will be based in their Abu Dhabi operation. Other responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Ensure marketing objectives/brand top line & bottom line are achieved through effective planning, execution & monitoring
• Lead annual marketing / brand plan development, ensure highly effective ATL/BTL program are based on deep understanding of consumer and market to create a competitive advantage
• Work closely with Country Manager, and local management team to ensure priorities are aligned and executions are smooth
• Work closely with Sales & Trade Marketing team to ensure trade program in line with overall brand strategy
• Manage all A&P budget of all brands & optimize ROI through analysis and review
• Effectively work & manage agency relationship & drive agency to deliver best value of service
• Oversee all consumer communication, promotion of all brands to drive consistent brand building & deliver brand sales
• Lead insight-driven NPD development & manage launch with control and discipline
• Contribute in SOP process to improve operation effectiveness & forecast accuracy

Requirements

To be successful, you should meet the following criteria:

• University degree in marketing, business or science
• Written & verbal communication in English is a must
• 8-10 years of experience in marketing, brand management in an well-recognized FMCG company.
• Proven track record of driving brand growth in competitive & mass categories
• Experience of managing portfolio of brand & categories
• Experience of managing team & develop junior people
• Excellent communication & presentation skill
• Strong business acumen, able to develop plan & budget, build system & operate within those guidelines
• Willing to travel & to be posted overseas
