Job description / Role
- Coordinate and manage the movement of materials throughout the supply chain.
- Ensure materials are received, stored, and issued in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts.
- Collaborate with purchasing and production teams to ensure materials are available for production schedules.
- Monitor and track materials to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to materials, such as quality or quantity discrepancies.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues or delays.
- Conduct regular analysis and reporting on material usage and inventory levels.
Requirements
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a material coordinator or similar role.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move materials as required.
