Job Description
The United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) is seeking to hire a MBA Director and faculty member in the Strategic Management Area at the Associate or Full Professor rank to begin Fall 2019 at the College of Business & Economics (CBE) within the Department of Business Administration. The CBE has been accredited by AACSB since 2000.

The Director of MBA program will be responsible for program leadership, vision casting, teaching excellence and program development of the (portfolio of) MBA programs. He/she will provide academic leadership for all aspects of the MBA program including strategic planning, admissions and daily operations.

To be considered for the position, applicants must have a doctorate in strategic management or closely-related field preferably from an AACSB accredited university. Qualified candidates must possess strong commitment to teaching excellence at undergraduate and graduate levels, demonstrable research capability to develop and sustain internally or externally funded research program, ability to publish research findings in refereed journals, and willingness to actively engage in promoting the growth of the UAEU. In addition, ideal candidates will have prior experience as MBA Director preferably at an AACSB accredited institution.

The application package should include a detailed resume, names of at least three references with contact information, and teaching statement that includes a list of courses taught. English is the language of instruction and communication within the CBE. An established record of research work published in internationally referred journals is mandatory for eligibility for further processing.

Requirements

Minimum Qualification
Applicants must have an earned doctorate in the applicable field from an internationally recognized University and proven record of publications in top-ranked journals and relevant teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Industrial and professional experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualification
Ph.D. in Strategic Management
