Mechanical Draughtsman

Job description / Role

• We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Draughtsman to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will have experience in the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) industry and a strong background in creating detailed technical drawings and plans for mechanical systems.
• The candidate should be detail-oriented, proficient in CAD software, and have a good understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
• Good Knowledge in HVAC, Water supply, Drainage & Refrigerant piping.
• Good Knowledge in MEP coordination & RCP Sections & elevations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Data center & Basic Revit experience will be a plus.
• Design plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Work from rough sketches and specifications created by engineers and architects
• Design products with engineering and manufacturing techniques
• Add details to architectural plans from their knowledge of building techniques
• Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for new products
• Work under the supervision of engineers or architects

Qualification:
• Bachelors Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities:
• Create detailed technical drawings and plans for mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, and ventilation systems, in compliance with project specifications and industry standards
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and provide technical support as needed
• Review and revise drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with required project standards and codes
• Assist in preparing material take-offs, schedules, and cost estimates for mechanical systems
• Coordinate with other drafting and design team members to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with other building components
• Stay updated with the latest design and drafting technologies, software, and best practices in the MEP industry

Salary:
AED 3,500 to 4,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements
