Mechanical Draughtsman

Job description / Role

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Draughtsman to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will have experience in the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) industry and possess strong drafting skills. As a Mechanical Draughtsman, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for mechanical systems in buildings and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:
- Create detailed technical drawings and plans for mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, and firefighting systems, using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Ensure that all drawings and plans comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers and clients.
- Produce material take-off and bill of quantities as per the project requirements.
- Coordinate with the project team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of drawings and plans.
- Stay updated with the latest design and drafting technologies and methodologies.

Salary:
AED 3,000 to 5,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience working as a Mechanical Draughtsman in the MEP industry.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and construction principles.
- Ability to interpret and create technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
- Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
- Minimum 4-5 Years experience are preferable.
- Immediate joiner or Visit Visa holder will be considerable.
