Media Advisor / Content Writer

Job description / Role

Our company is looking for Media Advisor / Copy content writer with fluent written/editing skills in Arabic and English for a fabulous role based in Abu Dhabi. It is essential you have UAE experience in known publications.

Duties Include:

• Write strategic speeches and releases in line with strategy
• Prepare media briefs for Interviews
• Prepare media strategies for visits to foreign countries
• Oversee media and collaterals to promote conferences / Exhibitions / policies / initiatives
• Prepare comprehensive briefing documents on crucial issues
• Manage build brand engagement through functional, strong user experiences, content development and support design coordination.
• Work directly with the creative team to bring the news/ story to its greatest potential, ensuring all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
• Research and write industry-related topics, combining online sources, interviews, and studies
• Review, proofread and edit reports, news materials and social media posts, in terms of content, language and accompanying images before publication
• Prepare key messages to media corporations and write articles for the Newspapers
• Conduct media analysis of strategic issues, international and regional affairs
• Advise writers on the content and presentation of the material to be published in compliance with the required standards and in a timely manner
• Supervise the preparation of news broadcast, interviews, dialogues and press releases and conferences

Salary:
AED 15,000 to 25,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

You Are:

• To be successful in this role you must have solid experience in the UAE as a Copywriter / Journalist or Content Writer.
• You must be fluent Arabic / English and have experience with web publications/ publishing reports.

Requirements:

• Degree Marketing, Translation or Journalism
• Qualifications in creative writing or translation
• At least 5 years’ experience working in the UAE
• Editing skills in English and Arabic
• Desirable to have working knowledge using WordPress
