Job description / Role
Review and analyze all MEP Design and Shop drawings, materials, schedules, a program of works, etc; Co-ordinate all electro-mechanical activities with various teams on site.
The main duty focuses on managing and operating the construction site including pre-construction, post- construction, execution and handover.
Plan ahead and expedite the availability of adequate resources to start and finish work on-time & coordinate with the local authorities for approvals.
Requirements
Qualification - Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant MEP experience in UAE.
• Experience should be in high-technology and/or large complex projects.
• Must have a comprehensive understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and controls systems
• Ability to understand and visualize constraints within the project as it pertains to the MEP coordination process as well as understand the construction of the building, equipment and service feeds and how they will layout within the building.
• Ability to lead the coordination process with all MEP trades and have an understanding of how to resolve conflicts.
• Ability to understand the order of activities as it pertains to construction sequence and have the ability to adjust construction activities as necessary to maintain the project schedule.
Preferred Specifications
Total 15 years of relevant MEP experience.
