Job description / Role
Purpose: To deliver all Mechanical Engineering installation, operation, maintenance, auditing decommissioning of all HVAC equipment and Systems.
Candidate must demonstrate competence in Microsoft Office Suite, Maximo or similar CAFM System, AUTOCAD.
Requirements
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• MEP experience in Maintenance of HVAC, Plumbing and Mechanical Plant within building facilities including towers.
• 7 years’ GCC/ UAE experience as Mechanical Engineer in the Facilities Management Sector
• 5 years’ experience in managing teams
KEY SKILLS
• Team and Project Management;
Coordinating/Managing contractors for various type of works; direct contractors of Du, Building Management (and their contractors, if applicable) who are working within Du
• Design Review; Review of works for execution for preparation of Work Order Forms and scopes.
• Commissioning and Handover of MEP Systems; receipt of new facilities on behalf of the Client FM Team
• Auditing; Monthly audit of works on all sites, report and implement corrective actions.
• PPM Planning, Management, execution and reporting
• Continues Improvement Reviews for operational and energy efficiency.
• Organizational and People Management
• Staff and System training
• Third Party / Landlord Management (supporting the Operations Manager)
