MEP Engineer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a skilled MEP Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure the efficient and safe operation of our interior turnkey fitout projects.

Responsibilities:
- Designing HVAC systems for interior turnkey fitout projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards
- Collaborating with project managers and architects to integrate HVAC systems into overall project designs
- Selecting and specifying appropriate HVAC equipment and components based on project requirements and energy efficiency considerations
- Supervising the installation and commissioning of HVAC systems, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project schedules
- Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of HVAC systems to identify and address any issues or inefficiencies
- Providing technical support and guidance to project teams and clients regarding HVAC system operation and maintenance

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in designing and installing HVAC systems, preferably within the interior turnkey fitout industry
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC design principles, load calculations, and psychrometrics
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to HVAC systems
- Proficiency in HVAC design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar
- Strong project management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- Relevant certifications or licenses, such as Professional Engineer (PE) or Certified HVAC Technician, are a plus
