Job description / Role
Job Profile: Select and Share buying stock. Analyse sales and communicate it to the stores/ Management
Key Performance Areas:
• Communicate with the Principles on merchandise related matters, documentation and shipments.
• Merchandise Assortment Planning, Allocations, OTB, and Replenishment of stock, Inventory Stock Optimization, Promotions
• Monitor stock movement, consider markdowns, inter-branch transfers, promotions or clear outs etc.
• Coordinate with the store and warehouse regarding the new arrival, the display material & the stock release and return
• Assist in the forecasting of orders quantities based on sales and stock information
• Analysing every aspect of bestsellers (for example, the bestselling price points, colours or styles) and ensuring that they reach their full potential.
• Assist in pricing strategy, ensuring the logic, commercially within the brand targets for margin
• Monitoring slow sellers and taking action to reduce prices or set promotions as necessary
• Prepare and Analyse reports to determine sales/ margin/profit information with recommendation where appropriate
• Analysing the previous season's sales and reporting on the current season's lines; Present monthly revisions of merchandise plans.
• Controlling stock levels based on forecasts for the season.
Requirements
• Good communication skills
• MS office (Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint)
• Arabic or French is an added benefit
