An exciting Microsoft Application Manager role has just become available from a leading FMCG company that has an impressive track record of growth.

As a Microsoft Application Manager you will be managing 5 mid to senior level people and be reporting to the Group Application Manager (who sits in Dubai and reports directly to the CIO).

About the Microsoft Application Manager role (AX, GP, Sharepoint) - FMCG sector

In this role, you will work closely with Senior Management team.

Part of job will to:
* Collaborate effectively between all members of the IT department
* Review business requests to IT
* Manage a team of 5 people
* Analyze, budget, and plan project proposals
* Gain credibility and sign off from various stakeholders
* Develop Requests for proposals (RFP)
* Negotiate and manage vendor contract for IT services
* Ensure compliance with contract specifications
* Provide multiple feasible and practical solutions
* Manage several MIS/ERP projects; ensure projects are completed on time within their budget
* Plan, direct, coordinate and review the work plan for warehouses

Requirements

* Arabic speaker
* 8+ years experience including the last 5 years in a management/supervision position
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft AX, Microsoft GP, Sharepoint, SupplyChain, Fleet Management and WMS systems
* At least 1 full lifecycle ERP system implement with Microsoft AX
* Good project management experience ithin a retail or environment sector - PMP certification is a plus
* IT Delivery Management - ITIL certification is a plus
* Excellent writing and communication skills in English
* Able to work with multi cultural teams (local/expat)
* Ability to influence technical and non technical people
