Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Temporary role on a 3-6 months contract.

The Role:

* Responsible for the development and implementation of new business, managing and growing existing accounts and delivering the appropriate solution. Delivering profitability and achieving sales targets.
* The National Account Manager will be extremely disciplined and motivated with an entrepreneurial approach and ability to champion and drive change, as well as the ability to work with minimum supervision.
* With a track record/ability to work on multiple projects, prioritizing workload and utilizing internal support network the National Account Manager will have the ability to build strong internal relationships working closely with cross functional teams.

You will:

* Identify and develop relationships with key clients and decision makers within your area of responsibility
* Responsible for organizing and maintaining own time, completing deadlines and making effective use of market mapping documents and developing a strategy to develop new business for both Starbucks 'We Proudly Serve' and 'Premium Self-Serve'
* Using SalesForce on daily basis to manage all new and existing accounts
* In weekly review meeting report personal objectives to the National Account Controller and the rest of the sales team
* Promotes Starbucks Branded Solutions regionally and creates leads for other partners within the team.
* Delivers account management reports for quarterly business reviews
* Forecasting for existing and new accounts
* Support the implementation of company programs to ensure the success of the Starbucks branded solutions.
* The successful candidate will be commercially aware with a strong understanding of P&L, as well as a track record of managing relationships with customers, understanding their needs and delivering appropriate solutions
* Analyze sales targets, performance and develop a clear business plans for strategic accounts.
* Accountability for the sales results of national accounts - driving new accounts/account retention and growth of existing business

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

You will have:

* Degree educated or equivalent.
* 5-8 year's experience in a sales role, KAM or preferably as a National Account Manager
* PC Literate, Excel, Powerpoint and Word.
* Thorough understanding of the industry & channel structure & the internal relationships.
* Fact based selling (uses data effectively to develop compelling sales propositions).
