Our Enterprise Data and Analytics department is an integral part of this process, and our comprehensive program is designed to groom you into a skilled Analytics Product Owner professional by providing you with practical experience in various functions of Enterprise Analytics. This program typically targets recent graduates or professionals seeking to enhance their Data Analytics and Product Owner skills and knowledge.

The program aims to develop our nationals and provide them with a comprehensive understanding of various Enterprise Data and Analytics functions and their strategic importance within organizations. It will last for 18 months, and include a combination of attachments, courses, and On Job Training. It will cover a wide range of topics, including the below mentioned in the Job Description.

JOB PURPOSE

The Analytics Product Owner focuses on the delivery of new analytics capabilities to generate business insights. Represent the business in the agile delivery environment and ensuring delivery and acceptance of products which include reports, dashboards and semantically modelled datasets.

Engaging with business users ensure the right level of communication, engagement, acceptance and use of features as they become available. Providing Data Stewardship through ensuring consistency and systematic documentation of all business metadata as it arises in the design and implementation of new analytics features.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES LINKED TO OBJECTIVE AREAS

- Translate features into prioritized user stories that include a clear description of associated business value and acceptance criteria. Ensure user feedback is incorporated into user stories by including scrum ceremonies into the business engagement model.
- Support the business stakeholders in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of delivered features or carry out UAT themselves on behalf of their business clients ensuring a systematic approach to testing and reduction of production faults.
- Develop the capability of the scrum teams to understand business context of features and user stories delivered through each Program Incriment (PI), arranging engagement sessions, running workshops and acting as a first line of enquiry on behalf of business in scrum teams.
- Enrich and maintain a thorough map of core systems and processes to be included in the Business Intelligence domain of their business area to reduce time taken to analyse requirements and ensure data products are built with regards to impacts on other platforms.
- Create and maintain a consistant approach towards the relevant business metadata documentation for the assigned subject areas within their domain, including, e.g. Information Matrix, entity definitions and entity relationships, metric and KPI documentation, data dictionaries and user guides.
- Maintain relevant analysis of each story before committing in PI planning to ensure greatest chance of successful delivery, including source analysis, modelling paradigms, business value and acceptance criteria are defined.
- Ensure all assets delivered are compliant with Enterprise Analytics mission of a single Enterprise Data Platform, business semantics modelled and implemented and data quality by design is prioritised as part of every feature delivered. Employ relevant information management tools throughout the delivery process and ensure ownership within the business is assigned and maintained post deliver.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Computer Science; Computational
Mathematics; Computer Engineering; Software Engineering or another relevant field.
- GPA 3.0 or above
- IELTS Score 6 and above or EMSAT 1400 , TOEFL 510
- UAE Nationality (Passport & Khulasat Al Qaid)
- Age between 21 - 26
