Network Engineer

Job description / Role

Network Engineer with one of the leading groups in Dubai.

Responsibilities:
- Installation, configuration, monitoring of Corporate Network devices
- Maintain and Repair the network devices and related inventory
- Monitors, analyses and reports the network status and recommends enhancements to supervisor
- Coordinates and makes himself available for installation and maintenance of network and conduct IT network hardware installation and configuration during office hours or after office hours and weekends
- Assist in day-to-day requests from IT support for troubleshooting network connectivity of personal computer and intranet environments (i.e. printers)
- Troubleshoot and resolve customers’ reported incidents which are related to the network operations.
- Applies the IT Policy and Security Standards across network
- Ensure continuous monitoring of the network infrastructure.
- Upgrade skills and knowledge on a continuous basis.

Requirements

- Bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering or relevant degree
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in networking field

Functional
- Proven In-depth knowledge in following protocols: IP, TCP, UDP, networks topology, data switching network ,Project principle and methodology., network management/tooling principles, information security systems, Vulnerability Assessment principles,
- Ability to analyse and recommend efficient solutions for technical problems

Management and Communication
- Ability to communicate, develop and sustain good working relationships with people at all levels.
- Ability to communicate effectively relevant network-related information to superiors and recommend enhancements to network
