Nuclear Medicine Specialist / Consultant

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nuclear Medicine Specialist / Consultant to join our medical team in UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced nuclear medicine services, diagnosing and treating various medical conditions using nuclear imaging techniques, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting nuclear medicine procedures and tests to diagnose and treat medical conditions such as cancer, heart disease, and neurological disorders
- Interpreting nuclear imaging studies and presenting findings to other healthcare providers
- Collaborating with radiologists, oncologists, and other specialists to develop and implement treatment plans
- Ensuring the safe and effective use of radioactive materials and adhering to radiation safety protocols
- Participating in research and staying updated on advancements in nuclear medicine technology and techniques
- Educating patients and their families about nuclear medicine procedures and answering any questions or concerns

Salary:
AED 45,000 to 96,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- Medical degree from a recognized institution and board certification in nuclear medicine
- Proven experience in performing and interpreting a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures and tests
- Expertise in using advanced nuclear imaging equipment and technology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals and interact with patients
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care, safety, and professionalism
- Ability to stay updated on the latest developments in nuclear medicine and contribute to research and academic initiatives
