Obstetrician and Gynecologist

Job description / Role

We are seeking a dedicated Obstetrician and Gynecologist to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing medical care related to pregnancy, childbirth, and the female reproductive system. This role requires a compassionate and skilled professional who can effectively communicate with patients and provide high-quality healthcare services.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting routine check-ups on patients to assess their health and monitor the progress of their pregnancy
- Providing prenatal care and guidance to expectant mothers, including discussing diet, exercise, and prenatal tests
- Performing deliveries and assisting with cesarean sections when necessary
- Diagnosing and treating various gynecological conditions and disorders, such as endometriosis, infertility, and menstrual problems
- Conducting screenings for breast and cervical cancer and providing appropriate treatments or referrals
- Educating patients on reproductive health, family planning, and contraception options
- Utilizing medical equipment and technology to perform procedures and surgeries, such as hysterectomies and laparoscopies
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, midwives, and specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Keeping accurate medical records and staying up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and best practices

Salary:
AED 65,000 to 75,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- Medical degree from an accredited institution and completion of residency training in obstetrics and gynecology
- Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology
- Valid medical license to practice as an obstetrician and gynecologist in the UAE
- Proven experience working in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with patients and address their concerns
- Strong surgical skills and experience in performing gynecological procedures and surgeries
- Up-to-date knowledge of medical guidelines and best practices in obstetrics and gynecology
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning
