Occupational Therapist - Home Care

Job description / Role

Our client, a well-known healthcare facility in UAE is currently recruiting for Occupational Therapist - Home Care to be based in Abu Dhabi.

Your responsibilities would include but not limited to:

• Plans and conducts individualized occupational therapy programs in a home care environment to help patients develop, regain, or maintain their ability to perform daily activities.
• Teaches patients skills/techniques and how to use adaptive equipment for participating in activities.
• Studies, evaluates, and records patients' activities and progress.
• Developing and revising the plan of care in consultation with the physician and other care-team members.
• Preparing clinical progress notes.
• Supervising therapy assistants and home health aides as appropriate.
• Planning Discharge.
• Educate patients and/or families about proper safe use and recommend methods for installation of adaptive equipment.

Requirements

To be considered for the role, you must meet the following criteria.

• Requires a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Must have clinical experience in home and community care setting or community outreach.
• Willing to work for 12 hours (AM and PM shift), 48 hours per week
• Must be willing to work in Abu Dhabi
