This private investment organisation has a global impact and an investment portfolio within the creative and property industries. The team is very welcoming and each staff member is fully committed. Therefore, the role of Office & HR Manager requires those who take a hands on and proactive approach. There will also be further development in this position as the company will continue to grow in the next 3-5 years.

In this SME, you will report to the Managing Director and support the team with all office, HR and administrative functions. This will include the monitoring of HR compliance and regulations, issuing and renewals of visas, medical and company insurances, trade licenses and the use of the DIFC portal. As the organisation grows you will ensure that job evaluations and descriptions are developed, sourcing and selection of candidates is managed and you will liaise with the senior team, ensuing the interview, offer and on boarding process is professional and efficient. In the future there will also be continued management of staff performance and development, employee engagement activities, monitoring of manpower budgets and forward planning. As the organisation also has offices in the wider GCC region and Europe, the local HR Managers overseas will report into you at the Dubai headquarters. Additional tasks include the overseeing of business continuity for the office which includes maintenance and housekeeping standards, selection, negotiation and management of all suppliers and vendors and supervision of 1-2 reception and administrative staff.

Requirements

The office culture here is highly collaborative and it is expected that the Office and HR Manager will be flexible to assist others when required to ensure all deadlines are met. You will possess excellent communication skills and strong administration and organisational capabilities to provide a professional environment and all HR/ DIFC compliance.

We expect that candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar dual faceted role in Dubai and a strong knowledge of all HR and UAE labour laws. Those with DIFC exposure are also highly advantageous to our client. The organisation can offer a great deal of stability and future growth as they continue to expand both in Dubai and Europe.
