Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Maintains high service levels for both internal and external customers.
- Initiate timely updation of standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as per changes in market, operational functionalities, company policies and /or regulatory framework.
- Collect data for daily, weekly, monthly MI report.
- Prepare test cases and maintain proper issue log during UAE phase. Follow up with vendors /FH IT and ensure quick turn around.
- Contribute effectively to organizational goals and department goals.
- Ensures that department polices and procedures are in line with company policies and regulatory framework.
- Ensures complete and successful handover of all duties and responsibilities to one or more replacement staff as delegated by Senior Officer /Manager during leaves.
- Take over responsibilities from other staff during their leave, as advised by Line Manager.

Process daily activities for Treasury, Investment and Securities Operations including but not limited to following:

Treasury Back Office Operations
- Generate Money Market & Forex Rates from Bloomberg and update into the system.
- Update gold rates ,Base rate & Flexi Deposit rate in system
- Prepare instruction to COPS for transfer of funds and letters to other banks related to bank Placement, Bank Borrowing, Settlement of Borrowing, FX deals and Repo / Leverage deals.
- Transaction Processing (Bank Placement, Bank Borrowing, Settlment of Borrowing, FX deals and Repo / Leverages deals).
- Highlight non regular issues to Line Manager

Investment Back Office Operations
- Monitor and make necessary follow ups for transactions /deals executed through FH Securities.
- Track all coupon payments.
- Highlight non regular issues to Line Manager.

Securities Operations

Share registrar Services
- Assist in on boarding of clients
- Static data set up
- Transaction Processing (i.e. Share Transfer ,Share blocking /unblocking ,reconciliation of accounts pertaining to Share Registrar Services ,Reporting activities ,Internal /External & Regulatory etc).
- Billing (Clients, Outsourced Agencies etc).
- Handling client queries and ensuring swift response.
- Assist in monitoring market updates.
- Complete daily processing and sign of checklists.
- Highlight non regular issues to Line Manager.
- Work with outsourced agencies to ensure smooth service delivery.

Custody services
- Assist in on boarding of clients
- Static data set up
- Transaction Processing (Settlement of trades, Escalation and follow up of unmatched / unsettled trades ,Reconciliation of accounts pertaining to custody Services ,Processing Corporate Actions ,Reporting activities, Internal / External & Regulatory etc).
- Billing (Clients, Outsourced Agencies etc).
- Handling client queries and ensuring swift response.
- Track market updates
- Complete daily processing and sign of checklists.
- Highlight non regular issues to Line Manager.

IPO Services
- Collection of documents and subscription amount from applicants.
- Highlight non regularities in application to Senior Officer /Manager.
- Prepare various reports as required by Lead Bank.

Business Mobilization System (BMS)
- BMS Data Maintenance
- Central point of contact for all queries, concerns, IT related issues etc.
- Prepare various weekly / monthly reports.

Requirements

- Familiarity of securities and custody business with in-depth knowledge of transaction processing (trade, corporate action, billing etc).
- SLA oriented.
- Team Player possessing strong organizational, problem solving and INTERPERSONAL SKILLS.
- Proactive and able to work under pressure.
- Fast- Learner and have a “can-do” attitude, displaying enthusiasm at work.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Knowledge of Windows, MS Office and MS Outlook.
- Bachelor Degree from a reputed University
- 3 years of prior knowledge of securities operations.
