Job description / Role
We are a fast-growing Signage Manufacturer based in Dubai. The Production/Operations Manager is a high responsibility job. To be considered for this job opportunity, you’ll need demonstrable experience and excellent understanding of every element of the process, of delivering large scale signage and branding programs. You should have excellent skills in efficient use of resources to ensure optimum use. Ability to audit manufacturing process and propose bet practices to enhance productivity and profitability.
• Overall responsibility for the management of the Design, Production, Project Management & Installation teams.
• Ensure efficient use of Manpower and Machines.
• Develop process and control systems to ensure maximum productivity and minimum wastage.
• Management of the team leaders and staff
• Responsibility for quality control of drawings, manufacturing, installations & ultimately project delivery
• Advising on innovative techniques
• Business productivity, performance & efficiencies
• Staff management, leadership & mentoring
• Appraisals & disciplinary
• Ensuring the smooth implementation of projects, delivering best in class customer satisfaction
• Strong technical knowledge of signage design, construction & installation
• Production management experience
• Ability to read technical drawings & sign off for production
• An energetic personality, can do attitude, be prepared to be flexible & go the extra mile
• Proven track record of working within a medium to large manufacturer in a similar / relevant signage job function
• A keen eye for detail & quality driven
• Ability to identify opportunities for innovation, value engineering & productivity improvements
• Problem solving capabilities
• Ability to multitask, keep a cool head during busy periods & demanding schedules
• Well presented with good written & verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Minimum of 4- 8 years of successful experience in Production/Operations Management.
• Diploma/ Engineering degree is perquisite.
• Knowledge of the sign/advertising industry is an advantage but candidates in similar fabrication industry can also apply.
