Operations Manager (Leisure / Entertainment Attraction)

Our client, one of the leading Leisure and Entertainment providers in Dubai is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join one of their premium entertainment venues. Priding themselves on the high standards of Customer Service and success of the attraction, my client is looking for an enthusiastic, driven Operations Manager to join their team.

The role of Operations Manager at one of Dubais leading Entertainment Attractions, is a comprehensive one. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing the levels of Customer Service within the facility
- Ensure team members adhere to uniform and grooming guidelines
- Manage maintenance schedule
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements, including the maintenance of CCTV systems
- Identify new equipment/technology that may be needed
- Oversee the development and implementation of special events, promotions, special events
- Manage the retail arm of the business
- Develop the ongoing management of the Cash handling procedures ensuring compliance with Emaar policies and procedures
- Managing the recruitment of the team and the ongoing training
- Delegate work to the team with clear instructions and targets
- Conduct team appraisals
- Deliver daily, weekly and monthly reports and highlight any issues/anomalies

Requirements

- 3-5 years of Operational Leisure Industry Experience within a management role
- Masters/Bachelors Degree in Business Management or a relevant discipline
- Excellent communication skills and command of the English language, both verbal and written
- Understanding of the retail environment and Leisure & Entertainment Guidelines in the UAE
- Good working knowledge of the market place, UAE culture and general business practices
- Experience of operations, attraction safety, staff management, inventory control, ticketing, budgeting, promotions and events management
