Operations Officer

Our Client, a financial services firm based in the DIFC is looking for an Operations Officer to join their team. The key responsibilities will be as follows:

Finance

• Month end reporting
• Processing payments
• Processing salary and payroll
• Quarterly reporting to the DFSA
• VAT returns
• Liaising with external auditors for the Annual Audit
• Financial Statements

Legal

• Prepare legal agreements and engagement letters
• Update share purchase agreements
• Liaise with lawyers on agreements

Requirements

• The candidate should be currently based in the UAE and be able to work independently but also as part of a team.
• This candidate should have a background in Finance and be a fast learner. It is a small office so you would be required at times to get involved in work and projects outside of your core remit, remain agile and flexible.
• The candidate should be currently based in the UAE and have near native English skills and a professional and hardworking attitude.
• The candidate should be confident and be able to manage key stakeholders. The candidate’s background should be from Financial services, investment firm or professional services firm.
• Previous compliance experience may be an advantage.
• Degree essential
