Operations/Sales Manager

Job description / Role

Our Client, a rapidly emerging business within the professional uniform and clothing industry, are currently seeking to employ an Operations/Sales Manager to head up the Al Ain division of the business. With over ten years of experience in designing and manufacturing premium quality uniform clothing for the UAE there has recently been major investment into the business which has resulted in the demand for this role.

With multiple manufacturing facilities in both Dubai and Al Ain, this role offers the opportunity to take on a dual responsibility level including the management of the operations facility plus overall strategic management of the commercial team. Reporting into Dubai your role would have the overall focus of building business across both the Al Ain and Abu Dhabi regions which is an area with vast potential. Managing a team of around 15 members initially -made up of designers and commercial staff- the intention is to grow throughout 2016 and double this number.

To facilitate the highest level of success in this role you must have direct exposure within fashion design and manufacturing. Potentially you have managed your own fashion brand and organized the manufacturing of product directly/indirectly or you have worked as a designer within a larger business yourself. The combination of fashion design experience and direct commercial exposure is vitally important for this role.

Ideally having managed a team previously you will have the understanding and ability to strategically develop the business and implement structured business plans on both a short and long term scale.

Requirements

- You must speak fluent Arabic.
- Your experience must cover both direct fashion design and commercial management.
- This role is based full time in Al Ain.
- Ideally you will have an existing network within the industry across the GCC.
