Ophthalmologist Specialist / Consultant

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ophthalmologist Specialist / Consultant to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert medical care and treatment to patients with eye-related conditions and diseases. This role requires a strong background in ophthalmology and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat eye-related disorders and conditions
- Perform surgical procedures as needed, such as cataract surgery, LASIK, and corneal transplants
- Conduct regular eye examinations and screenings
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans for patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in ophthalmology and incorporate best practices into patient care
- Provide education and guidance to patients regarding eye health and treatment options

Salary:
AED 45,000 to 95,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Ophthalmology
- Proven experience as an Ophthalmologist Specialist or Consultant
- Excellent diagnostic and surgical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Up-to-date knowledge of advancements in ophthalmology
