MIMS Lead - Job Description

• 8+ years of experience in Information Technology with 3+ years of experience as a Team/Tech lead
• 3+ years in Insurance IT systems (Preferably, MIMS system knowledge or any health/medical insurance related products/systems).
• 3+ years in Oracle DB 10i/11g (PL/SQL).
• 2+ years in Oracle BIP or Power BI (added advantage but not mandatory)
• Experience in Production support (Level 2 and Level 3) is mandatory. Should be able to resolve production issues and requests based on the SLAs defined.
• Experience in leading a team of developers, coordinating with client stakeholders, tracking production tickets and ensuring to bring them to closure.
• Experience in Middle East (or) with Middle East clients is a big advantage but not mandatory.
• Should have strong experience of working on Front End related technologies (Oracle Forms 6i / Reports 6i).
• Experience with Oracle DB - debugging and writing SQL procedures and functions.
• Should have good knowledge about Insurance domain (3+ years minimum) and insurance related systems (preferably, MIMS or any Health/Medical Insurance related products).
• Should be able to analyse the tickets and historical issues, bring up problem management topics and drive the team to fix the repetitive issues permanently.
• Ability to understand functional requirements and providing solutions.
• Should have hands on skills to work on Oracle DB (PL/SQL) like creating code using procedures, functions, packages, complex queries, performance tuning, and etc.
• Should have an idea of working on version control related tools (SVN/Git Hub).
• Should have experience of understanding and parsing XML and JSON structures in the DB.
• Should be able to understand, prepare and run test cycles independently in coordination with business.
• Self-motivated and committed to quality.
• Interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Problem solving skills.
• Excellent organization skills.
