Packaging Supervisor

Job description / Role

• Acting as the first point of contact with the client representative for operations.
• Preparing daily planning & scheduling manpower , tools, equipment & other resources according to production targets with the approval of the Operations Manager.
• Ensuring that all transactional data are encoded into SAP.
• Preparing KPI reports for his shift.
• Constantly finding ways to improve productivity & efficiency.
• Assisting the HSE Engineer in the implementation of HSE requirements & ensure prompt action for any adverse / unsafe situations.
• Ensuring that proper handover is done to the next shift by the various operators.
• Assisting in preparing the annual budget by providing valuable inputs on matters concerning areas of operations.
• Maintaining safety stock level of all packing materials required.
• Maintaining good housekeeping in respective work areas.

Requirements

EDUCATION (all degrees, certifications required and preferred)
• Bachelors Degree ; preferably engineering

WORK EXPERIENCE (number of years of prior experience, specific industry / functional experience desired)
• 5 years professional experience in the same capacity or as team leader

SPECIFIC SKILLS (i.e. project management / software products)
• Communication Skills
• Computer Literate
• Leadership Skills
