Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Approve and/draft, format and prepare standard agreements to a high standard including confidentiality agreements, service agreements and amendments to regulatory and distribution agreements
- Ensure the procedural requirements such as contract approval forms are completed prior to signature
- Manage the contract management system for all Middle East and Africa region
- Be responsible for management of legal and compliance share points for MEA territories
- Be responsible for issuing weekly update reports to head of legal and compliance
- Obtaining of Legalizations / Notarizations
- General Administrative Support (e.g. correspondence, appointments, filing, telephone service, travels)
- Review of promotional materials
- Provide annual legal related training on legal topics as appropriate
- Support the Head of Legal and Compliance or designee in other adhoc duties such as corporate documents
- As a channel of communication to receive and direct legal issues to appropriate resources

Requirements

- Good knowledge of MS Office, Excel, SharePoint and PPT
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English, Arabic and French (desired not essential)
- Strong problem-solving and excellent communication skills
- Strong skills regarding formatting, drafting and finalising contracts
- Work closely and in a collaborative manner with the team and the business people
- Capacity to approach issues not only from a legal but also from a commercial perspective
- Pragmatic, hands-on, problem-solving attitude and a high sense of priorities and urgency
- High level of integrity, ethical behavior, loyalty and trustworthiness. In addition, he/she must be firm in his/her approach and diplomatic in communication style in order to navigate between business and legal needs
- Ability to work under stress with an understanding of the different cultures and languages
- MEA regional experience is a must
- Must have a degree within the legal field
