Job description / Role
Client is a start up online company established in Dubai Internet City. Acting as an intermediary between law firms and internet users, the company already received industry accolades and it is therefore a very exciting time to get on-board as the first team member. The General Manager (who is an experienced ex-lawyer) is looking for someone dependable who has a law degree and 2-3 yrs experience as a paralegal or solicitor/lawyer. Arabic is advantageous however not essential. English must be fluent, written and spoken.
The most important traits are that you are dynamic, dependable, driven and not afraid to roll your sleeves up and do a variety of tasks from telephone or client facing, liaising with law firms, conducting research (including legal research), creating blog content and articles, identifying customer needs, be involved in implementing marketing ideas, typing, filing, setting up systems etc. You will definitely need to be passionate about start ups and tech-savvy.
Salary will be in the range of AED15k.
Benefits: The candidate may be eligible to the employee equity scheme depending on previous experience and/or performance.
Office hours are: 9am to 6pm in a fun and friendly startup environment, alongside some of the top UAE start ups.

Salary:
AED
15,000 to 17,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Requirements
* Law degree;
* Minimum 2 yrs experience as a paralegal or lawyer;
* Fluent English, written and spoken;
* Confident, dynamic;
* Flexible and happy to do a variety of tasks from running the office to research/marketing/BD;
* Tech-savvy;
* Available to start 1st October
