Job description / Role
To work closely and assist the Legal Counsel and to provide legal secretarial support:
• Draft all legal documents related to the incorporation of a company (MOU/MOA/AOA/Board resolution…)
• List, prepare and apply with the documents related to the renewal of a company license (interact with the Free Zone authorities)
• Translate legal documents as required and verify the transation when made through an official translator
• Assist the General Manager before the Registrar/Public Notary for the signature of company incorporation/authority documents (POAs) notarization
• Launch and follow up the attestation/legalization/notarization processes with the PRO
• Filing and maintaining legal records in soft and hard copies
• Draft of contracts (non-disclosure agreements, lease agreements, employment agreements, standard terms and conditions of sales, based on templates)
Requirements
• Bachelor or Master degree in Business Law
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; excellent computer skills;
• Good knowledge of Emirati law and regulations, Free Zone regulation (minimum 2 years experience in the region)
• Good knowledge of attestation/legalization/notarization processes with Government Authorities
• Good clerical and administrative skills;
• Honesty and reliability;
• The ability to work on own initiative given tight deadlines or schedules;
• An understanding of confidentiality issues and the use of discretion
• Bilingual (English / Arabic (read and written is a must)
