Job description / Role
This is a unique Office environment that manages the private wealth, investments, and projects for this UHNW. A boutique office environment, with a stable and close knit team, they are now seeking a new Personal Assistant to join the team. Primarily, the PA will be based in the corporate office in UAE, but on rare occasions, they may be required to work from private residences and hotels both here and internationally.
Office is a specific sector and hence we will only consider applicants that can demonstrate a minimum of eight years’ experience. You must be very familiar working with an UHNW and be able to provide both effective personal support to ensure smooth day to day running of the family’s life and solid business acumen. This role has diverse responsibilities and will have another PA reporting into it and hence we are looking for a strong mentor and someone who is engaging, positive and strives to deliver excellence.
No day will ever be the same and tasks will include, managing all the client's coordination and associated logistics, multiple diary management, personal shopping, research, project coordination, travel management (private and commercial aviation), coordination of household staff and any new staff requirements, business support to the corporate management team, actively provide financial updates and evaluation of policies and procedures.
Candidates MUST be degree educated from a UK / US University and must have worked for at least two HNW client offices. Due to the engagement globally the client have, only native English speakers will be considered for this role. We are seeking someone who has had line management, Chief of Staff responsibility and who can switch easily between the facets of very personal and private to a corporate situation, always maintaining professionalism and discretion. Attention to detail is paramount and candidates will be able to look at the minutiae details through to the bigger picture in all areas. Additionally, you will be an active individual, who will have displayed an interest in volunteering and / or fundraising in the past.
The successful applicant will be considered part of and will be resourceful and structured with a natural ability to present solutions to issues before and as they arise. A combination of trust, transparency and operational efficiency underpins your success in this role and the ability to work in a calm, reassuring manner, even when under extreme pressure.
