Personal Assistant role, oil and gas sector, based in Abu Dhabi. AED 18,000.
Your new company
A leading oil and gas company is looking for an PA to join operations in their Abu Dhabi Office to provide support to their Chairman. As well as having offices worldwide, they are well established within the oil and gas industry and are a company recognised on a global scale.
Your new role
This position will act as the administrative point for their Chairman, typical duties will include: arranging extensive worldwide travel, applying for any necessary foreign visas, coordinating the logistics and putting together accurate itineraries. Within the office, you will be responsible for scheduling meetings as requested; which may include booking meeting rooms, creating agendas and producing all documentation required for the meetings. At times, you will need to co-ordinate all necessary meeting logistics for both Chairman and guests, arrange catering if required and ensure video conference is set up if necessary. You will be completing weekly time and expense reports, as well as creating any other reports and documents on the Chairman’s behalf. You will be responsible for all correspondence on behalf of the Chairman including: taking messages, following up on voicemail recordings in a timely manner, reviewing, sorting and prioritising email and both incoming and outgoing mail, again providing correspondence where appropriate. You may be required to carry out research tasks as directed by the Chairman. You will also be integral to supporting the Chairman’s family and assisting them on a daily basis. As well as the above, you will be providing all other general administrative support as requested such as; copying, binding and faxing documents and creating and maintaining internal filing systems.
AED 18000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be a native English speaker, with a solid background in administration and PA support. Preferably you will have had exposure to the oil and gas sectors and will have provided support to high level individuals. You will have an awareness of visa requirements for foreign travel and will have previously dealt with both local and international travel. You will be highly computer literate; especially familiar with the use of all Microsoft office packages. The perfect candidate will be a friendly team player with excellent communication skills, be professionally presented as well as be able to multi-task and use initiative.
