Job description / Role
Pipeline technicians are responsible for the maintenance and repair of pipelines CCTV Inspection, CIP Plining, Pipeline blockage removal, Drain line jetting, Localized Grp patch repair works, and Pipe Joint leak sealing. They commonly work on teams with other technicians who specialize in specific areas.
Pipeline technicians must have a strong understanding of engineering principles to do their job effectively. They also need to be able to read blueprints and schematics so they can properly identify and assess problems within the pipeline system
Responsibilities
• Inspecting pipelines for damage caused by corrosion, structural failure, or leaks
• Installing new pipelines and repairing existing pipelines as needed
• Maintaining records of all pipeline operations, including repair schedules and material inventories
• Performing routine inspections of pipelines to identify problems or potential problems
• Detecting leaks in pipelines using acoustic devices such as listening devices or visual devices such as infrared cameras
• Evaluating new technology for use in pipeline construction or repair projects
• Operating welding equipment to join sections of pipeline together
• Installing and maintaining equipment for monitoring pipeline conditions, such as pressure gauges and flow meters
• Installing new pipelines or repairing existing pipelines using tools such as saws, drills, and welding equipment
Requirements
• Preferably with UAE license
