Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Wood is currently recruiting for a PMC Planning Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry

Develop / improve Project Master Schedule and ensure that services are performed from the effective date of the contract as per the agreement.

Review, monitor and control the schedule of the FEED Engineer / EPC Contractor / Other contracts related to Project including their interfaces based on the respective contracts and to achieve specific Milestones as per overall COMPANY requirements.

Follow COMPANY procedures for project schedule development and control.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure compliance with Company, ADNOC Group HSE Policy & Stanadrds
- Develop and further elaborate the "Indicative Overall Project Schedule" developed by COMPANY using Project Management Software like Primavera Project Planner.
- Review & monitor Contractor's schedule along with Progress Measurement System inline with COMPANY procedures.
- Full compliance with COMPANY Procedures including IPMS, ADNOC GVAP Group, Assurance & Asset Integrity, Projects' control and governance guidelines, and manulas.
- Review and approve the planning Packages prepared by Engineer / Contractor inline with COMPANY procedures.
- Conduct Progress review meetings (Weekly / Monthly / Quarterly) with COMPANY / Consutltant / Contractors / SubContractors and others to review progress identify problem areas and initiate corrective action.
- Review and analyze the weekly / monthly progress reports / schedule updates from Contractor.
- Suggestion and follow up on recovery for activities behind Schedule or likely to be behind the schedule.
- Carry out Earned value analysis for measuring Project performance according to baseline project cost and schedule.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent Professional Qualification.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Planning & Scheduling for projects, of which at least 8 years in the oil & gas industry.
- Experience in EPC environment is preferred
- Good IT skills.
- Proficient: MS Office suite
- MS Schedule
- Primavera (P6)

Work Conditions:
- Based in Company Office in Abu Dhabi City.
- Regular site visits, to oil fields in remote desrt location
- Visits to fabrication yards & workshops in the UAE as required.
