Job description / Role
We at Al Tayer Group are looking for a Planning Lead as a part of the Planning and Business Excellence team to lead the adoption of standardized Project Management principles across the Organisation and act as project manager for key projects and deliver change management for key projects.
The key responsibilities would include:
1. Manage the PMO at Corporate Own the PMO Toolkit and roll out across BUs and Support functions within the Group
2. Ensure training on PMO processes
3. On select projects, act as the Project Manager including preparation of project plan, project progress reporting and risk management
4. On select projects, act as the PMO administrator (PM assistant) ensure collection of project progress data and provide necessary support to the Project manager
5. Conduct periodic assessment of usage of PMO toolkit across the Group
6. Provide change management for high impact projects
While the role would have focus on project management/ change management, the planning lead would also be given opportunity to work on business strategy projects.
Requirements
As a Planning Lead you would have a Bachelors or Masters Degree. You would have at least 5 years experience in project and change management of large projects, managing PMO Office and preferably some experience in managing business projects - not limited to IT.
Professional qualification like PMP is an asset.
You would have worked in a mid to large size multi cultural organisation and have an assertive, independent, analytical and organized personality.
