This is an opportunity to work for Mace International on a major programme of projects in Dubai.
Reporting to the Project / Programme Director, responsible for our complete Schedule and Planning Management deliverables on a major new build project which forms a key part of a wider Programme.
Responsible for;
- Reporting to the Project Director providing the overall Planning and Programming of this major scheme.
- Part of the senior management team responsible for the delivery of the scheme in a client facing role.
- Responsible for the scheduling and sequencing of works.
- Your involvement will be from pre-con stages through to hand over.
- Procurement, design management, delivery and hand over of each of the packages which are all at different phases.
- Responsible for managing all planning staff and planning aspects of the sub-consultants and trades package contractors.
- Internal and external reporting.
- Work with other departments and the Programme level Planning / Controls teams on planning, risk management, claims evaluation and regular reporting.
- Preparation of specific Project Procedures, implementation through the extended Project team, including the Client, Cost Consultant, Supervision Consultant and Contractor.
- Presentations, communications and correspondence with the Client and other Project team members related to planning, scheduling and reporting.
The successful applicant will need to have experience in coordinating and managing multiple stakeholders and demonstrate the ability to build robust, long term relationships and integrated teams.
Part of the senior management team in a client facing role.
Requirements
- Degree qualification is essential.
- 8yrs+ post-graduate experience is essential for client approval.
- Professional Membership preferred.
- Experience directly on large programmes desired.
- High communicator; across, up and down.
- Major Project experience is essential.
- International project delivery experience is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills will be required.
- Excellent Leadership qualities are essential.
We are seeking people that have worked for Blue Chip, Western Project Management or Cost Consultancy organisations or the International Main Contractors.
