Job description / Role
This vacancy is for a leading construction group in the UAE. The Group spans the entire spectrum of the construction cycle with 11 integrated companies that engage every aspect of the construction cycle. They have an 18,000 strong workforce across the group companies. They are currently recruiting within their readymix division which is a leading ready mix solution provider in the Middle East with extensive material testing capabilities in the region. They have an excellent track record in the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Turkey, Kazakhstan and Morocco. The details of the vacancy is below:
Duties: Be fully conversant with all company policies, procedures & operation guidelines for Batching Plant Operations, Workshop Management, Technical Quality Management, Fleet Administration, Concrete delivery etc… Ownership on plant commissioning and decommissioning for the Branch. Ensure the activities in coordination & follow up with erection team. Ensure sufficient Quality/preferred quality of raw material availability as per production schedule. (Incoming and outgoing stocks should be monitored on daily basis). Batching Plant General Administration – Ensure 97 % availability of Batching Plant, WTP and Recycling Plant in Operation, in coordination with Plant Department. Guide Plant Operator, Plant Operator, Plant Engineer, Technicians etc., to ensure policy adherence. You should have effective interpersonal, negotiation, persuasion, facilitation and communication (both written and verbal) skills in English.
Salary:
AED
35,000 to 40,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements
They are currently recruiting for an experienced Plant Manager in Dubai. The Plant Manager will be responsible for 2-3 plants in the local area. You should be experienced in this position and preferably have experience of working in the UK readymix concrete industry as Plant Manager or similar. You should have extensive knowledge of concrete technology with exposure to the construction market.
