Job description / Role
Wood is currently recruiting for a PMC Data Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Successful candidate must perform below duties;
- Providing assistance to the Project Director / Project Manager in managing the Contractors for the Information / Data Management topics;
- Ensuring the work is executed in compliance with the contractual documents within area of responsibility;
- ensuring the implementation of the Project Information Management Execution Plan in order to meet the requirements and to guarantee the correct information flows during the project phases;
- Defining and maintain an appropriate Project Digital Management Framework (including a centralized Data Management solution and data quality solution) for the lifecycle of project electronic information;
- Supporting the Project Manager in the monitoring of the Data quality and handover.
- Monitoring the status of the electronic information also through the definition and analysis of KPI and reporting the issues (in terms of consistency, correctness and completeness)
- Coordinating with the relevant Focal Points and Contractors' Data Coordinator in the different project locations
- Monitoring and supporting the progressive and final handover of document and data to Client through appropriate IM/IT solutions and ensuring the final handover of electronic information as requested by the contract;
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 5 years experience, knowledge of the Oil & Gas industrial sector and related Onshore plants is a must;
- Strong understanding of Quality Assurance and Quality Control in the data management context
- Strong computer literate, with advanced knowledge of all relevant engineering software tools, systems and tools
- Hands-on experience and understanding of engineering design systems technologies and methodologies in a Petrochemical, Oil and Gas, Engineering & Construction industry preferred
- Experience working in an engineering discipline preferred
- Experience working with other related applications utilized in the Engineering environment preferred
- Successful completion of the Hexagon and/or AVEVA training courses preferred
- Self-motivated and able to clearly communicate with Client and contractors at all levels
- Good presentation skills
- Good written communication skills
