Robert Half are working with a leading Investment Management firm in Abu Dhabi, seeking a talented individual to fill the role of Portfolio Manager.

The Role

This dynamic position offers the opportunity to manage the overall performance and follow-up of corporate equity portfolios, driving strategic priorities and maximizing returns on investments.

As a Portfolio Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the corporate equity portfolio's performance and ensuring effective portfolio management and valuations. Your expertise in due diligence, project selection, and strategic planning will be essential in driving the firm's developmental objectives.

* Strategic Allocation: Ensure the appropriate allocation of equity funds to projects aligned with strategic priorities, optimizing portfolio performance and developmental objectives.
* Strategic Input: Participate in project selection and structuring, providing strategic input to drive successful outcomes.
* Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with key clients, overseeing portfolio operations and maximizing investment returns.
* Performance Monitoring: Monitor profit distribution from projects, assess investment performance, and evaluate feasibility.
* Risk Management: Collaborate with Risk Management personnel to formulate recovery strategies and mitigate risks.
* Legal Compliance: Review shareholders' agreements and contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

The Candidate

* Experience: Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in Finance/Accounting, with at least 4 years in progressively senior managerial roles.
* Certifications: Chartered Accountant Certification (CA, ACA, etc.) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Qualification preferred.
* Language Skills: Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic are essential.
