Job description / Role
Aquila Consulting are working in partnership with an international Security Manufacturer operating in the UAE. Due to project wins in the surrounding GCC, they have an opening for a Presales/Solutions Engineer to report into the Project Manager.
Our client are looking for an experienced, driven, and highly motivated candidate with extensive experience in solutioning / presales / consultancy / technical sales in the field of computer/electronic engineering to join their team.
The key role responsibilities include:
• Support of the sales team on technical questions.
• Analysis of project requirements, generation of response to RFIs/RFPs.
• Solution design based on technology capabilities considering technical and commercial constraints.
• Technical consulting.
• Technical documentation.
• Autonomous evaluation and research of industry solutions including integrations, software/hardware components, and networking architecture
Requirements
• 2+ years’ experience in Presales, Solution Design, or similar client-facing engineering roles is mandatory.
• Ability to articulate complex technical solutions both in detail to technical customers as well as at a high level to business customers.
• Must be comfortable presenting, speaking, and delivering consultancy/training workshops.
• Strong in mathematics.
• Statistics, algebra, and trigonometry are a must-have.
• Advanced logic and reasoning skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Proficient in English language - Spoken and written.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• MS office proficiency especially Word, Excel, Power Point.
• Good experience with computer software/hardware.
• Experience with Microsoft Operating Systems
