Our client, a well-known distributor of Chemicals and commercial and industrial lubricants is now recruiting for a Pricing Analyst.

The position reports to the REGIONAL MARKETING MANAGER MEA and is focused on overall maintenance of MEA pricing and rebates system, price performance reporting in support of achieving and exceeding sales targets, customer records maintenance, sales analysis and reporting in support of business development projects, while at the same time securing compliance of processes in those areas. This person will be expected to proactively identify, recommend and implement improvements in terms of price performance, data accuracy and response time to Sales and marketing. Collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Supply chain and Master Data departments is at the core of the role.

Responsibilities include:
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, product management and supply chain as it relates to pricing and profitability analysis
• Create, maintain and coordinate system implementation of 10+ Commercial country price lists
• Assist sales on price evaluations in business development projects
• Maintain customer off list prices, evaluate regularly, measure performance, communicate outputs to sales and coordinate timely system settings
• Provide monthly review of costs developments per supply point, analyze price lists profitability, compare, report out
• Secure price data accuracy, monitor, manage and update system pricing as needed, both for SAP and Commercial country price lists
• Ad hoc activities related to pricing and profitability reporting and management (invoice pricing troubleshooting, time critical sales enquires, error corrections, price claims)
• Manage tactical and administrative activities of pricing approval, approval documents and work flow, maintain approval archive (responsibility and accountability in processing and archiving highly confidential information including approval documents, customer pricing and report data)
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and financial department on rebate agreements evaluations
• Coordinate rebate agreements process end-to-end, set and issue regular sales performance reports on customer / rebate level
• Manage Business development funds process end-to-end (evaluate requests, liaise with Accounting and Legal in agreement execution, set tracking system, coordinate funds requests)
• MEA Power user for system BW sales reporting, provide training updates to the team
• Customer master system set-up request and customer records maintenance, including regular reviews of customer conditions
• Exercise care and attention in all activities, in support of profit improvement

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma, preferably with the Accounting background
• 2 years financial analysis or 3-5 years sales or customer service analysis
• Work experience in an International company is preferred
• IT literate (MS Office), proficient in Excel (vlookups, pivot tables and graphs)
• Fluent in English (both verbal and written)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to present information and respond to questions in a fast and comprehensive manner
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once with a sense of urgency required to work in a deadline driven environment
• Accurate, detail oriented, well organized and pro-active with regard to improvements and administration
• Positive attitude, team player, self- motivated
• ERP experience preferred (SAP and BW reporting preferred)
