The department is highly regarded among our student body for the care and personal support offered to students. We are now looking for an innovative Primary Counsellor to join us in September 2024.

THE ROLE

The ideal candidate should have a strong track record in effective provision of counselling and guidance to students. While experience in the IB programmes is preferred, outstanding Student Counsellors from any curriculum background are encouraged to apply. Alignment with the IB philosophy and commitment to the Learner Profile values are crucial. A genuine passion for working in a non-selective and culturally diverse community is also a key requirement. Additionally, the candidate should possess:
- A certified professional qualification at degree level, such as BA, BS or equivalent specialism in Counselling
- A minimum of 3 years experience as a School Counsellor, ideally within an IB curriculum school, however, this is not mandatory
- Availability from September 2024
- Aspiration to work in a world class school with significant opportunities for career development and advancement
