Job description / Role
Venture Search is currently recruiting for Associates on behalf of several notable institutional investors based in the UAE. We are currently recruiting on behalf of institutions based in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi, who are hiring in Private Equity, and Private Equity Co-Investments, and in Venture Capital.
We are keen to speak with Associates / AVP's / AP's currently in the buyside, preferably with prior experience working for a bulge bracket, who are interested in relocating to the UAE from a developed financial market, or have recently done so (e.g. London / Paris / New York / Geneva / etc).
Whilst sector-specific experience is not required, individuals who can handle all aspects of transaction management, from origination through to execution are required.
Requirements
Successful candidates are likely to have the following experience:
• Experience originating/sourcing private equity deals
• Able to manage a transaction from origination through to close, and portfolio management
• Excellent economic and financial data collection, modelling, and analysis skills
• Sound transaction due-diligence experience
• A minimum of 3 years experience in a bulge bracket investment bank or top-tier boutique/advisory/strategy firm.
• Experience working for a recognised institution in a developed financial market (e.g. New York / London / Paris / Hong Kong / Singapore / Geneva / etc)
• Excellent financial modeling skills
• Experience in both public and private equity transactions and investment banking practices, preferably with previous international exposure
• Wide coverage of sector experience
• Solid understanding of macroeconomic themes and statistics
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• MBA, CFA, or similar preferred
• Happy to based in either Abu Dhabi or Dubai (relocation assistance will be provided).
