PRO - Public Relations Officer

Job description / Role

Our client is looking for a Public Relations Officer (PRO) to be based in Dubai, UAE.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all visa and immigration processes for employees, including new hires, renewals, and cancellations.
- Maintain strong relationships with government departments, including Immigration, Ministry of Labor, and Free Zone authorities.
- Liaise with clients and internal teams on all PRO-related and legal matters and provide timely updates on application statuses.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UAE government regulations and procedures concerning visas, licenses, and labor laws.
- Process and manage company licenses and registrations.
- Prepare and submit all necessary documentation for government applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Proactively identify and resolve any issues related to visas or government documentation.

Requirements

Role Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience working as a PRO in the UAE.
- Proven track record of successfully processing visas, licenses, and other government documentation especially in DMCC.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE visa and immigration procedures, labor laws, and business regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with government officials and clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Experience working in a start up company is highly desirable.
- A valid UAE driver's license is a plus.
