Job description / Role
Job Objective:
The ideal candidate will be an industry expert in procurement and contracts management, driving best practices in efficiently and strategically carrying out corporate procurement functions , based on internal and external bench marking.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
- Manage tender scopes and commercial requirements for various services lines including: MEP, cleaning, security, specialist systems etc.
- Liaise and communicate with project delivery team on project materials or services required, including consultant, contractor or construction materials.
- Negotiate and communicate supply plan timelines to internal and external customers and stakeholders.
- Implementation of cost effective and efficient buying/ordering procedures and techniques.
- Compliance with COSHH Regulations in all work activities.
- Manage apportioned budget as appropriate.
- Manage the development, monitoring and continuous improvement of statistical reports on procurement.
- Conduct inventory audits.
- Any other duties as assigned by the reporting manager.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/ Supply Chain Management, is preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in supply chain management, logistics or purchasing is required with a Property Developer.
- In-depth knowledge of Procurement, Contracts Management, Internal Controls, Policies and Procedures etc.
- Knowledge of commercial and financial techniques and be abreast of environmental issues/impact.
- Skilled specialist in communicating and managing client expectations and requirements with strong analytical skills.
- Solid understanding of the local laws and regulations.
