Job description / Role
The Sourcing Business Partner for Events & Marketing will be working closely with the Events & Marketing team to support their sourcing activities and to build competitive relationships with their key events & marketing suppliers.

My client is a government entity based in Abu Dhabi and they are looking for a Business Partner (Category/Sourcing Manager) to be responsible for driving, leading & managing their events & marketing spend across the UAE.

Sourcing Business Partner - Events & Marketing
Role description
* Work closely with the assigned sector (end users); understand the sector's scope of operations and priorities; engage and build relationships with sector employees.
* Assist end users with annual demand planning and recommend sourcing strategies to achieve objectives.
* Develop and maintain expertise in the supplier market for relevant categories.
* Learn about, recommend and help to implement appropriate sourcing strategies.
* Assist end user with tender preparation; identify opportunities for cost savings and other efficiency's.
* Support end users in technical bid evaluations and participate in commercial evaluations
Job Offer
The successful candidate will be offered the following package:
25,000 AED - 30,000 AED per month
Visa, Healthcare, No Flights or Bonus
Requirements
Experience required
Minimum five years experience in a similar role:
* Familiarity with end users' business model, supplier base and procurement needs
* Experience in preparing tender packages for large events & marketing projects
* Experience working directly with suppliers in events & marketing category.
* Experience in negotiation
* Experience in the events & marketing field a plus
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in business or marketing
